HORTENSIA dress is made in Europe with linen sourced from Europe too. The linen is naturally coloured and is fully biodegradable.

Our linen supplier is fully committed to reduced energy, reduced water consumption, recycling and keeping the full production cycle as
environmental friendly as possible. The mill where the linen is produced is powered 100% by renewable energy.

Our supplier has an ISO 14001 certification, legislated by the European Union which helps organizations minimize how their operations negatively affect the environment, comply with applicable laws, regulations, and other environmentally oriented requirements. 

Our favourite part of our supplier’s manufacturing story is that the flax crop grows with rain fall alone and, to produce the linen, they only use
water from their own source. This water has been filtered through basalt rock and is drawn from over 100 meters below the ground. It is a
naturally soft water with no impurities which is so important because we want you to wear the most natural linen possible.
